How do you
like your freedom?
"Today
(yesterday) is a special day for many people. This day, September the
19th, is of particular importance to computing tech heads, geeks,

How GNOME and
KDE spend their money
"Quarterly reports
are the stuff of business. In most people's minds, they are as far from
the spirit of free and open source software (FOSS) as anyone can
imagine. All the same, as non-profit organizations, many FOSS projects

Sexism in FOSS
"Let's begin with
what this is not about. It is not about war, hunger, poverty, or any of

the other problems in FOSS."

19 September, we celebrate Software Freedom Day. At tomorrow's Boston
gathering, I will have an opportunity to thank the Free Software
Foundation on behalf of Sugar Labs for their support. I will also have
a chance to tell the story of Sugar, our efforts to help children learn
to learn and learn to love and exercise their freedom. I will also
solicit your help."

G:Standard
3.0
The
next and last release of GoblinX 3.0 series will be G:Standard and we
are already working on it. With only few test remaining to do we expect
to release it during this week
New
Kernel
We
need to upgrade but the new ones do not work well with latest Linuxlive
scripts. We will start to work with new Kernel after we close the
series and start the new project. It will not be kernel upgrades for
