"GoblinX,
an installable live CD based on the solid foundation of Slackware
Linux, released Standard edition version 2.6 last month. It comes with
lots of handy applications and five desktop managers: KDE, Fluxbox,

Reviews of
GoblinX 2.6
March, 03 2008
During the last
week several reviews of the GoblinX 2.6 were published. Thanks for them.
The News.softpedia.com published
an interesting review written
by Marius Nestor (Linux Editor) with several screenshots of the
GoblinX 2.6.
"... In conclusion, you should give GoblinX a chance,
but not because it's so small (300 MB) or because it so good looking
and fast, and not because it has so many window managers, but because
all the beautiful wallpapers and the magical applications I've
mentioned in this review are created by a single person, Flavio de
Oliveira! Thank you Flavio for such a glamorous distro (and for those
amazing wallpapers)!"

The Junauza.blogspot.com
published a review (battle) of GoblinX Mini against Zenwalk.
"...GoblinX won the entire "Aesthetics" category
because of its unique and artistic appeal. Zenwalk was just too plain
and simple. Though for me, simplicity in design is not a disadvantage,
I just thought that GoblinX has that X-factor in terms of looks."

Reviews of
GoblinX Mini 2.6
February, 08 2008
The
GoblinX Mini 2.6 was reviewed twice already.
The Linuxlove.org published a review of
the GoblinX Mini 2.6.
"FINAL THOUGHTS: GoblinX is a distribution that dares
to be different and unique. While mostly every time, unique doesn’t
equals good, this is not one of these times. It might be a little
difficult to get used to this distribution but it surely worths it. At
least giving it a try. Enjoy!

The
Junauza.blogspot.com published a review of the GoblinX Mini
2.6.
"Conclusion:
GoblinX 2.6 “Mini” Edition is honestly worth the try. I would recommend
it to both beginners as well as advanced users. It is very lightweight
and fast, which would be good for low-end computers. It has great
hardware detection and Slackware-like stability. Those who have higher
end machines and want a more complete desktop should get the Standard
Edition instead, I think. All things considered, I will without doubt
give GoblinX a “thumbs up”... It can’t be that hard to fall in love
with GoblinX, because it’s simply beautiful."

life.
The very first edition

Working as good as possible, working hard, at
weekends, during holydays, with help from goblins around the
world, and great love, we turned our distribution into a passion, a
different kind of Linux where every user is reborn before become a
goblin, just because we need to learn how-to use our eyes and
hands, how basic is beautiful. We must celebrates and also to
be thankful to every one who helped, who tested and carry our cdrom
showing to friends, relatives and Linux users, and of course to every
place, website, magazine and friends around the world.
At October, 28 2004, I was looking for a place to host
our ISO and I've found The Linux Mirror Project (http://forums.tlm-project.org/showthread.php?t=79),
our first friend.
