g:Premium

The g:Premium formely known as ‘GoblinX Premium‘ is the special edition created to be the main operating system of the goblin fan, our O.S. Replacement. This edition is intended for the goblin around the world who wishes to use the distro as an installed system because it contains a very large source of applications and features, like a development center where you can find all necessary programs to compile applications and drivers.

The g:Premium contains languages, libraries, files and applications used to compile other programs from source code, it contains several more applications to everyday use and more drivers and packages needed to improve hardware support, like sane, gutenprint, hpjis, ndiswrapper, slmodem and many more.

The g:Premium offers the stability of Slackware, with a great power of customization where you can control everything about the system in a very simple and fast way. The main resources of the livecd are still preserved and you can count on more because it is two times the original size of g:Standard.

From original g:Standard all features are still retained, like five windows managers, applications, cheatcodes, scripts, but you have increased power because you can count on the features that make this a very special livecd and an excellent distrothat you can install on your harddisk.

The g:Premium contains compressed modules by using Squashfs that follow different categories of applications. Each module includes several programs.

Beyond original modules also presented on master edition, it includes some special modules like a_Media.lzm which has several multimedia applications, a_Network.lzm full of internet/network programs and a_System.lzm which includes some important applications for your computer.
